There are a number of things about the Nokia 6303 Classic that are worthy of attention, one expert has advised – drawing particular attention to its simplicity and functionality.

According to Flora Graham, the device is rare in that it is available at a very affordable price to both contract and prepay customers, while still retaining the ability to cause “a tingle of excitement”.

In an article for Cnet this week, the reviewer looked at the phone’s many plus points and highlighted the ease with which it can be used, as well as its performance as a day-to-day option.

Available free on a £15-pound monthly tariff and with a price tag of £80 for those seeking it out on pay-as-you-go, Ms Graham explained that the 6303 Classic is clearly a model with budget buyers in mind.

However, this does not mean the gadget is left lacking in either its “sleek” good looks or its various multimedia and photographic options.

“The 6303’s 3.2-megapixel camera does a good job of capturing snapshots, especially for such an inexpensive phone. Colours are accurate and bright in good light and close-up shots are better than those of the average phone,” she added.

It was noted the buttons are also “a delight to press” and the review concluded that although it lacked things like 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, it did provide solid build quality and impressive basic functionality that would be ideal for many.

The Nokia 6303 Classic was announced in January alongside the 6700 and 2700 models.
