Nokia 6700 and 7320 announcedNokia has unveiled two new mobile phones this week that it has suggested could provide buyers with the perfect balance between style and functionality.

The Finnish manufacturer announced that the new 6700 and 7320 models were equipped with enough modern technology to tempt consumers, while the design of the handsets has also been carefully considered.

Highlighting the most attractive aspects of the Nokia 6700 first, it was advised that the model "is sure to turn heads" thanks to a range of vibrant colours that include as pink, red, petrol blue, aluminium, lime and purple.

In addition, the firm explained that the gadget was well equipped for those who like to take pictures and share them with their friends and family.

"The five-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics is perfect for capturing and sharing moments as they happen," Nokia said. "Favourite images can be edited on the go and uploaded to the web directly from the camera menu."

However, for those looking for something on a lower budget, it was noted the 7320 was perhaps a better option. A slider-style handset like its 6700 sibling, this model is able to boast a 3.2-megapixel camera and 2.4-inch display.

Both of the above devices provide access to social networking and media sharing facilities thanks to the inclusion of 3G network support with Nokia concluding: "Being connected has never looked so good."

This week also saw the Finnish manufacturer’s range become more attractive to multimedia users, as a new Spotify application was launched for the Symbian operating system – meaning devices like the 6220 Classic, E71 and 5800 XpressMusic can now access the streaming audio service.
