People concerned that their mobile phone does not fit into their current lifestyle may be encouraged to hear that Samsung believes it now has the answer with its new Galaxy Apollo offering.
The i5801 product, which has been launched exclusively in conjunction with Orange, is said to be the perfect option for a whole range of users by one of the company’s executives.
Head of mobile at Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland Simon Stanford said the Android-powered device is proving popular with a host of audiences.
"The Samsung Galaxy Apollo offers a compelling mix of social networking and rich media experiences which will appeal to consumers who want a Smartphone device at an affordable price," he explained.
Mr Stanford also noted the handset is great for running a number of applications parallel to each other, making it easier to multitask.
According to the organisation, which has been in operation for over 70 years, the handset is definitely the choice for people who are keen to network as it provides access to the Samsung Social Hub – an "integrated phonebook" with links to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
The phone will be available in a limited edition design that will only be offered for three months and comes equipped with the TouchWiz 3.0 and user interface, which the company claimed will simplify browsing and searching actions.
Those concerned that the power may run out quickly may be encouraged to hear that it is fitted with a long-lasting Li-Ion 1500mAh battery, while the device itself provides DivX support for personal entertainment purposes.
