The Samsung Jet has been described as “a very desirable phone” by one reviewer, while another expert has highlighted the messaging functionality of the Nokia E71.
When it came to an analysis of the former, Mobile Burn’s Michael Oryl was quick to highlight the speed of the South Korean manufacturer’s new device adding it was also “smarter than a smart phone”.
As one of its latest flagship models, he added the firm had delivered a feature-rich model, drawing particular attention to facilities like the 800MHz processor, 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and five-megapixel camera.
GPS technology, as well as SRS sound and DivX/XviD video playback was welcomed and Mr Oryl concluded all of this was contained within a stylish package that sat comfortably in the hand.
However, for those looking for a more messaging-friendly model, the comments of Desire Athow of IT Pro Portal may be of more interest, as he explained the Nokia E71 offered an affordable qwerty-enabled option.
“It is the smartphone’s keyboard that we found the most compelling,” he added.
The reviewer continued: “It felt sturdy, solidly built and appeared unlikely to snap at the first fall. The keys have a slight bulge which makes pressing them distinctively light and bouncy.”
The device is fitted with a 2.36-inch screen, 3G, Nokia Maps, GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and is part of the same Eseries range which is designed to focus on optimised mobile email, joining existing devices – such as the E66.
