Mobile broadband customers in the UK who are thinking of comparing the market to find the best deal to suit their needs could be among those interested to hear about a new price reduction from one provider.
T-Mobile has announced that price of its dongle, which is used for pay-as-you-go broadband access, has been slashed.
The provider usually charges customers £19.99 for its MBB 610 dongle.
However, under the terms of this latest offer, broadband users looking to access the internet while on the go can pick one up for as little as £8.99.
Those interested in acquiring one of the discounted dongles have been urged to act quickly as T-Mobile has stated that the deal is only available for a limited time.
Potential purchasers have just one month to pick up an MBB 610 for £8.99 before T-Mobile pulls the deal from the market.
Not content with cutting the price of the dongle to less than half, T-Mobile has also announced that it is to offer free mobile broadband to all customers paying for their first day of access, which is currently charged at £2.
"Mobile broadband is useful because it means wherever you go you still have broadband, unlike with fixed line broadband," the company said.
"Pay-as-you-go mobile broadband is perfect for those people who may occasionally need to use mobile broadband, say once a month, because they don't need to sign up for a long contract and pay an unnecessary amount for such small usage," it added.
