A new price plan has been added to Virgin Mobile’s selection of pay monthly tariffs that the network claims could be the “ultimate” for those looking to combine everything into one package.
Unlimited, as the offering is named, allows the user to subscribe for a monthly fee of £65 and for this they can expect as many text messages as they require, as much web access as they need and all the cross and same network voice calls that they could ever want.
This could make it a solid option for consumers looking at upgrading or changing their current plan who do not want the surprise of extra charges every month – as it means they could effectively have a fixed rate.
As part of the Unlimited tariff, the carrier has confirmed it will provide some of the latest phones – and so far it has been confirmed that these will include the Samsung Jet and the Nokia N86.
The former was unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer last month and is equipped with an 800 MHz processor built in – which means processes are fast and the user interface can run at its optimum level.
Nokia launched the N86 earlier this year – and with a feature set that includes a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen, eight-megapixel camera with xenon flash and support for the Finnish manufacturer’s N-Gage gaming platform, it could prove equally popular with people signing up to the pay monthly option.
Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media, said the offering could be “the perfect combination for high usage customers who want the best technology available, without paying the earth”.
He added: “The addition of these fantastic handsets to the device range demonstrates our commitment to catering for every mobile customer out there.”
